Fundraising is the means by which Lions are most able to have an impact in supporting opur community. Whether is be a sausage sizzle at the locak shopping centre or major events such as a Golf Day, Concert, Opportunity Shop or other activities, our ultimate goal is to raise the funds necessary to support those most in need in our local community.
All donations (large or small) are very much appreciated and greatly assist the efforts of our club members in supporting the community through a variety of endeavours and projects.
Our members are unpaid volunteers who combine their efforts and help direct 100% OF your donations towards assisting individuals and groups within our community. Each project has a chair-person whose role it is to organize, co-ordinate and call on the resources of the club and commuity to carry out the project successfully. All offers of assistance are gratefully accepted.
The Lions Club of Forest Hill has been the nominated recipient and trustee of several bequests and is well placed to discuss and manage this type of arrangement should you be considering that avenue of assistance.
If you are able to donate and time, skills, goods or services to particular events and causes – without exception all areas and levels of assistance are greatly appreciated.
