The Lions Club Forest Hill runs the Lions Den Op Shop in conjunction with our sister club, the Lions Club of Nunawading.
Able bodied volunteers from both clubs assist the “Den” by collecting or dropping off larger items by trailer on a Saturday morning. This task is on a shared roster and provides a valuable community service.
The Den is permanently managed by Mary Brown, who overseas the entire operation and reports to the Lions Den Management Committee.
Community groups are invited to provide volunteers to service the shop a weekly basis in return for a large percentage of any profit (after costs) made during that time.
Any profit share for the Lions Club of Forest Hill is utilised to support club projects.
So please support our fundraising efforts and your local community by shopping at the Lions Den whenever practicable.
