Roth Gair Charity Golf Day

Description & Goal: The Roth Gair Charity Golf Day is run in aid of the Macular Degeneration Foundation, and is held the first Sunday in February each year, at the Rosebud Country Club.

The event is named after a past member of the Lions Club of Forest Hill, Roth Gair, who also suffered from Macular Degeneration. His affliction never stopped him from assisting the community with all projects, and never kept him from playing golf. 100% of profits raised though this event benefit the Macular Degeneration Foundation, and over the 4 years this has been running, we have raised over $35000 for MDF. To find out more about MDF, please visit their website www.mdfoundation.com.au

2011 report: Over 100 golfers played in the Modified Ambrose event at Rosebud Country Club on Sunday 6th February, and over 140 attended the presentation lunch. We raised in excess of $11000 through the event, and the various competitions, raffles and auctions. Please download the results page for a full list of the winners of the Mens & Ladies events, and winners of the various competitions on the day.

2012 event: Will be held Sunday 5th February at the Rosebud Country Club - 7:30am shotgun start. For details regarding playing in the event, please download the information flyer and Booking sheet. We are always happy for any sponsorship support -signs, trophies, hole sponsors, as well as prizes for the auctions, raffles and showbags. Please download the Sponsorship form if you are able to assist.
